Lord Adds New Aqueous Adhesives

Four aqueous adhesive products have been added to the Chemlok adhesives product line for rubber-to-metal bonding. These adhesives, designed specifically for bonding sulfur-cured nitriles, silicones, fluoroelastomers, and Vamac compounds, have been extensively field-tested. Chemlok 8114 bonds Vamac, bisphenol-cured fluoroelastomers, polyacrylates, ethylene acrylic, and peroxide-cured EPDM elastomers. Chemlok 8115 bonds sulfurcured NBR and Vamac elastomers. Chemlok 8116 bonds peroxide-cured compounds such as silicone, EPDM, fluoroelastomers, and HNBR elastomers. Chemlok 8117 bonds peroxide-cured compounds such as silicones, EPDM, fluoroelastomers, and HNBR, as well as bisphenol compounds and Vamac elastomers. As part of Chemlok' s environmentally preferred adhesives line, these four adhesives were developed to meet robust environmental, chemical, and bonding performances demanded by the marketplace. In addition, these adhesives meet the European End of Life Vehicle requirements.
