The History of ChemRep
ChemRep was founded by James McCarthy in 1977. From the very beginning, ChemRep enjoyed the benefit of working with high quality manufacturers such as the J.M. Huber Company, International Sulphur, and Zochem. The company's focus has always been to provide exceptional products and service to rubber manufacturers and to companies in associated industries.
Mark Petras joined the company in 1983. Seven years later, Mark and his wife, Gail, purchased the company from James McCarthy. ChemRep is now a female-owned company.
Over the years, ChemRep has developed a strong group of customer-oriented professionals. Roxanne Wieczorek has been with ChemRep since 1987 and is currently our Office Manager. Tim Day joined ChemRep
in 1991 and serves as the Regional Accounts Manager in the western
portion of our territory. Doug Ruch joined ChemRep in 2007 and serves as
the Regional Accounts Manager in the eastern portion of our territory.
Our Customer Service Manager, Patti Stibbe, joined the company in 1999.
Today ChemRep serves as a distributor to the rubber and related industries in eighteen states in the north central United States, from West Virginia and Ohio to Idaho and Colorado. Please review our list of products for more formation.
